Starting a Home Based Business
Starting a Home based Business, boy doesn't that sound exciting!! I have been involved in a new Home Business and with very little experience; it has been a challenge. I've found out that it seems everyone wants to get you to join their own business and most promise to help you get started and up and going. However, in my short time as a newbie, some of my so called supporters has gone into the "witness protection" program. They are willing to take your money only to never be heard from again. This is one thing that I hope I never stoop to. I feel a person is only as good as their word. I wish more people saw things as I see them. I've already seem more casualties in this business than I've ever hoped to see. One thing for sure, not all of the people I've met are that bad, actually some have been very supportive, and some are not asking for anything in return. What a breath of fresh air. These are a true God sent.
I must say that the one group that has been the most supportive and helpful has been, a group of people: MYVMTeam.com, a group of approximately 75 people who range from newbies to 20-30 years or more of experience. This is the most friendlies, helpful and self sacrificing group of people I have ever met. The leader Coach Cobb has truly assembled an elite team.
Now, that I have aligned myself with them, I'm sure that great things are just over the horizon. The teaching is personal and very informative, with this type of mentor- ship, how can I go wrong?
God Bless,
KL Brown

"Remember, others are watching"
If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with fear, he learns to be apprehensive.
If a child lives with jealousy, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns to be confident.
if a child lives with praise, he learns to be appreciative.
If a child lives with acceptance, he learns to love.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with recognition, he learns it is good to have a goal.
If a child lives with honesty, he learns what truth is.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith in himself and those around him.
if a child lives with friendliness, he learns the world is a nice place in which to live. (Sinai Sentry)
It seems that during these days of trials and testing, it is easy to let your guard down, especially when you think no one is watching. However, it seems someone is watching all the time! They say that the test of real character is, when no one is watching will you do whats right anyway?? Then your a true success.
"Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is the doing, not the getting -- in the trying, not the triumph, Success is a personal standard -- reaching for the highest that is in us -- becoming all that we can be. If we do our best, we are a success. Success is the maximum utilization of the ability that you have."

"Ability"
"The average person puts only 25 percent of his energy and ability into his work. The world takes off its hat to those who put in more than 50 percent of their capacity, and stands on its head for those few and far between souls who devote 100 percent." Andrew Carnegie
"You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win." "Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street." Zig Ziglar"
"Instead, to be financially free, we need to learn how to make mistakes and manage risk." Robert Kiyosaki
"Put yourself in a state of mind where you say to yourself, "Here is an opportunity for me to celebrate like never before, my own power, my own ability to get myself to do whatever is necessary." Anthony Robbins
As we continue to grow and experience life, our abilities change. We need to keep our focus on the subject at hand, working as if failure or success was totally dependent on us and our ability, yet praying for God to intervene and make up for our inadequacies.

How's your Race going?
Runners train themselves to be focused on one thing-the finish line. They have one desire and they are not going to let what is going on in the stands or who is lagging behind to distract them.
Paul had the same sense. He, too, believed that you could not win a race by looking over the shoulder or glancing to the right or the left. You can't see what is ahead when you've got your headlight on the rear bumper.
Paul forgot his past glory, past mistakes, past grief, past everything. Paul refused to let his past keep him from reaching his goal. What are you doing in your race to claim the prize of a closer walk with God?
"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14)
"Expect resistance, but pray for miracles." Corrie Ten BoomJust a few thoughts!

The 10 Commandments of Business
1. Handle the hardest job first each day. Easy one are pleasures.
2. Do not be afraid of criticism - criticize yourself often.
3. Be glad and rejoice in other fellow's success - study his methods.
4. Do not be misled by dislikes. Acid ruins the finest fabrics.
5. Be enthusiastic - it is contagious.
6. Do not have the notion that success means simply making money.
7. Be fair, and do at least one decent act every day.
8. Honor the chief. There must be a head to everything.
9. Have confidence in yourself; believe you can do it.
10. Harmonize your work. Let sunshine radiate and penetrate your relationships.
" The wayside of business is full of brilliant men who started out with a spurt and lacked the stamina to finish. Their places were taken by patient and unshowy plodders who never knew when to quit." (J.R.Todd)
"Goals are not only absolutely necessary to motivate us. They are essential to really keep us alive." (Robert Schuller)
